Ma was always clipping articles and saving special photos, notes from friends, cards from loved ones, or kids’ artwork. She enjoyed sketching and painting, and in many other ways demonstrating her creative side.
She was adventurous, smart, witty, and was always able to come up with an appropriate gift, as well as supply you with something you needed in a pinch. Ma celebrated other people and what was important to them. She always remembered your birthday, anniversary, your favorite color or animal.
She was always up for a road trip, a new experience, and ready for a good laugh. She cared for all of her animals and traveled with Pa & her elderly felines in the last decade+ of her life. Cyrus (1998-2018) and Spirit (2015-living with Amy & family).
She was accepting of others and forgiving of their mistakes; she was grateful for what she had, generous and thoughtful; Ma was incredibly intuitive; able to read people’s true intentions with her clairvoyance and perceptiveness. She filed information, without letting negative experiences change how she treated people. She described this as “knowing what you’re dealing with”.
